Welcome to Kinda Recovery. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our platform. They outline your rights and responsibilities as a member of our community.
By creating an account and using Kinda Recovery, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Community Guidelines in full. This constitutes a binding End User Licence Agreement (EULA) between you and Kinda Recovery. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our platform. Your continued use of the platform constitutes ongoing acceptance of these terms.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Kinda Recovery. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your profile and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Kinda Recovery operates a strict zero-tolerance policy towards objectionable content and abusive behaviour. This includes but is not limited to: hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, discrimination, content that glorifies or encourages self-harm or substance abuse, sexually explicit material, violent content, spam, impersonation, or any content intended to harm, demean, or distress another person. Posting or sharing objectionable content will result in immediate removal of that content and may result in the immediate and permanent suspension or banning of your account without warning. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Kinda Recovery is built on kindness and mutual support. You agree not to post content that is harmful, abusive, hateful, or discriminatory; not to harass, bully, or threaten other members; not to share another member's private information without their consent; not to post content that glorifies or encourages self-harm; and not to impersonate any person or organisation.
You retain ownership of the content you post on Kinda Recovery. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it to other members of the platform. You are solely responsible for the content you share and must ensure it does not infringe on anyone else's rights.
All members have the right and responsibility to flag content they believe violates these terms using the Report function available on every post. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We commit to reviewing and acting on all reports of objectionable content within 24 hours of receipt. Where content is found to violate our terms, it will be removed and the offending account will be subject to appropriate action, up to and including permanent ejection from the platform.
You may block any user whose behaviour you find abusive or inappropriate. Blocking a user will immediately remove their content from your feed and prevent further interaction. When you block a user, our moderation team is automatically notified so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action. Blocking does not guarantee that the blocked user will be removed from the platform; if you believe the user has violated our terms, you should also submit a formal report.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines at any time and without prior notice. We commit to reviewing all reported content within 24 hours. Accounts found to have posted objectionable content will have that content removed and may be immediately suspended or permanently banned from the platform. We aim to be fair and transparent in all moderation decisions.
Kinda Recovery is a peer-support community and is not a medical or mental health service. Nothing on our platform should be considered professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you are in crisis or need urgent support, please contact a qualified professional or an emergency service.
Kinda Recovery is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the platform. Continued use of Kinda Recovery after updates are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
